A flat shipping fee of $4.95 will be applied to all orders of cards and prints. Orders for cards and prints $71 or more will receive free shipping. Call for shipping and handling pricing of originals.

International orders may take longer, varying based on the destination.

Hand-embellished work may take up to two months due to artist availability, order processing, handword, oil paint drying, packing, and shipping

Order Tracking:

Tracking information will be provided once your order has been shipped.

Return Policy:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 3 days from the date of delivery.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We do not currently offer exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Return Process:

Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we will process the refund within 10 working days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the product. We will arrange for a replacement or help to file an insurance claim in the case of an original painting.

I whipped out this painting during a Father’s Day weekend getaway to visit my dad’s home in Sun Valley, ID. As my father had just won a battle with throat cancer I was eager to visit and reconnect. I decided to pull out a compact canvas that I had stashed in my bag with the intention of stealing a bit of time for myself. Amid the banter of my dad and stepmother (Pop-pop and Helenma as they are fondly known by all), at the kitchen table, inspiration hit me, and I found myself immersed in creating this painting.

Opting for a color scheme that echoed the soothing tones of sea foam green, rich chocolate brown, and deep maroon, I embarked on a journey to capture the ambiance of a winter stroll. Coinciding with Father’s Day, the scene I was painting naturally drew my dad into it. In my mind’s eye, I placed him amidst the landscape, and I could almost feel his presence as he sang Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” – a song he absolutely adores. I painted him sporting his beloved little green cap, walking with his ski pole, and gazing at the enchanting trees that surrounded him. Dad named the art, ‘Into the Light’, but I renamed it ‘Pop-pop’s Path’ in honor of him and in gratitude that God spared him to remain with us for a little longer. When I look at this piece, I can almost hear the snow falling.

Dear Dad,

Happy Father’s Day! This painting is of you and: for you. You are wearing your favorite green “ja-ket”, sporting your cap, carrying your walking sticks, whistling (ok-humming) Louis Arnstrong’s “It’s a Wonderful World’ while looking at the beautiful trees. While you almost pre-titled this “Into the Light; I officially renamed it, “‘Pop pop’s Path” (because I’m the artist: and I get to!)

If you were to die today, I’d want you to know that you are very much loved and respected. We are indeed not equal in our strengths, talents, DNA, gifts, looks, weight, size, brains etc, but we are all equal with our right to life and God’s one-in-a-million choice to live a full life. That being said, I want you to know that we are always striving to be a better human, God loves you just as you are. YOU ARE ENOUGH! Enough light, enough height, enough bright!, and of course, enough FORGIVEN!
All this to say I love you and am so grateful for the time together fighting the Big C! You won! Woo!
