Orders are typically processed within 5 business days after payment is received.

Shipping Costs:

A flat shipping fee of $4.95 will be applied to all orders of cards and prints. Orders for cards and prints $71 or more will receive free shipping. Call for shipping and handling pricing of originals.

Delivery Time:

Please allow 7-14 business days for domestic delivery.

International orders may take longer, varying based on the destination.

Hand-embellished work may take up to two months due to artist availability, order processing, handword, oil paint drying, packing, and shipping

Order Tracking:

Tracking information will be provided once your order has been shipped.

Return Policy:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 3 days from the date of delivery.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We do not currently offer exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Return Process:

To initiate a return, please contact us by emailing heatherscolorsllc@gmail.com or by calling us at 208-738-5511. Provide your order number and reason for the return.

Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we will process the refund within 10 working days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the product. We will arrange for a replacement or help to file an insurance claim in the case of an original painting.

Creating a special birthday gift for my son, Kipling, I decided on a New York Cityscape, placing us by one of its iconic bridges. I adore how the harmonious purple and green hues contrast with the skyscrapers and the meandering rock wall, providing a scenic backdrop as we engage in conversation by the flowing river. In the painting, Kipling dons an orange ski cap, reminiscent of the hat we once used to hang in the car as a makeshift swing for Squiggles, our family pet ferret.

This artwork evokes memories of our outdoor escapades in the picturesque streams and nature of Idaho during Kipling’s homeschooling years. Now, as a practicing veterinarian in East Manhattan, our adventures have taken a different turn. The title, “Kip & Me in NYC,” playfully celebrates this journey, emphasizing the surprise that we, hailing from Idaho’s serene countryside, now find ourselves navigating the bustling streets of the Big Apple. It’s a whimsical ode to a mother and son sitting by a flowing river, sharing life’s moments despite the physical distance that separates us.
