Berry High (Prints)

Fulfilling a commission for a colorful vineyard-themed wine label, I initially imagined hot air balloons drifting over Italian vineyards. Instead, inspired by Idaho’s famous huckleberry, I painted the balloon in the shape of a giant huckleberry soaring over Idaho’s majestic Selkirk Mountains. This whimsical huckleberry balloon adds a playful touch to the scene. I love the vibrant patterns and landscape of this aerial view, capturing the essence of “up, up, and away.” On the left-hand side, a tiny homestead brings life to the farmland, fields, and foothills of Idaho’s Selle Valley.
