One evening, at my sister Dawn’s invitation, I joined a paint-and-sip event and brought along my trusty palette knives. Working with a limited color palette of red, black, blue, and white, I set out to create a quiet night scene. A larger-than-life moon became the focal point, casting a soft glow over a small, warmly lit cabin below.

The contrast between the bright moon and the humble cabin creates a sense of calm and nostalgia, like a place remembered rather than visited. The scene feels still and restful, as if the world has slowed for the night and silence gently lingers in the air.
