The inspiration for this painting took me straight to the picturesque landscapes of the old English countryside. As I worked on this artwork, I couldn’t resist adding a few sheep just beyond the fence line, giving the finished piece a burst of color and life. One aspect I particularly enjoy is the placement of the moon, nestled within the embrace of the mountain, casting a gentle and warm golden light across the valley. To infuse a touch of radiance and vitality, I introduced hints of metallic gold, as if the sun were bestowing a kiss of sunshine upon the fence and the sheep where the light would hit with the most brilliance. Bringing everything into harmony, I framed the artwork in a lavish gold border. For a whimsical touch, I incorporated five minuscule dots, each smaller than a pinhead, cradling the sun. Why the dots? Artistic license.
