Artist Inspiration: This painting was a spontaneous exploration of color composition with my friend Leslie, as we experimented with palette knives and oils on a lovely Sunday afternoon. I used bright shades of orange, yellow, and blue, separated by a gently used white gate. Beyond the gate lies an orange house, and perhaps more, nestled back into the woods of a countryside property. Lush trees frame the scene, their vibrant hues contrasting against the serene backdrop. The entranceway greets the viewer with a dotting of delicate flowers, evoking a sense of tranquility and charm reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.
