When I showed my friend Arnie another wintery mountain ski painting, he immediately said, “POW!” — and I knew that had to be the name of my next piece. So I painted this one in honor of that moment, diving even deeper into the snow. Prussian blue, lavender, turquoise, and titanium white collide in a burst of motion — just a hint of helmet and reflective goggles breaking through the spray, the skis completely buried in powder. It’s that perfect split-second of weightless speed when you’re lost in the mountain and completely alive.
