Artist Inspiration: Being chosen as the poster artist was an incredible honor, and I couldn’t resist creating a second piece inspired by these iconic wagons. I wanted to capture the energy of the parade winding through Ketchum’s streets, with the historic buildings and Bald Mountain towering in the background. Six wagons, pulled by 20 powerful mules, roll past an abstract crowd lining the sidewalks. Thousands gather for this beloved Labor Day tradition. Vibrant pinks and purples contrast with the earthy tones of the wagons and their white canopies, bringing the scene to life in a celebration of history, movement, and community.
