Artist Inspiration: I watch her go. Golden hair catching the last light, skis slicing through the snow, and then she’s gone. Over the edge. No glance back. Just flight. I painted this moment with soft yet electric shades of white, peach, and turquoise, the way fresh snow glows when the light hits just right. Cool turquoise shadows stretch beneath her and along the trees, giving a sense of motion, while tiny flashes of orange add warmth and life. For me, it’s not about who she is, it’s about that instant before she disappears into whatever waits beyond the edge. That moment feels like pure freedom.
