Big Wood (Stretched Canvas)

Description

Original SOLD

I wanted Big Wood to feel bold and unmistakably connected to the character of the valley. The sheep takes center stage against a vivid red background, allowing its textured, expressive face to become the focus. I layered warm browns, creams, and darker tones into the animal to give it depth and a sense of movement. For me, this painting celebrates the sheep that have been a part of the story of the Big Wood Valley.
