Original Artwork: 10″ x 10″ oil in canvas framed in knotty alder.

Artist Inspiration: Inspired by Idaho’s famous huckleberry, I painted the balloon in the shape of a giant huckleberry soaring over Idaho’s majestic Selkirk Mountains. This whimsical huckleberry balloon adds a playful touch to the scene. I love the vibrant patterns and landscape of this aerial view, capturing the essence of “up, up, and away.” On the left-hand side, a tiny homestead brings life to the farmland, fields, and foothills of Idaho’s Selle Valley.
