Artist Inspiration: Bald Mountain (aka ‘Baldy’) is Sun Valley’s iconic ski destination, beloved by skiers around the world. I wanted to honor its magic and wrapped the icon in swirling mist with wisps of color that dance like morning fog. A sun glows in the pink confetti bloom air, celebrating the mountain’s place in the 2025 World Cup ski finals. Layers of deep Prussian blue, forest green, with touches of cadmium yellow and pink create a dreamlike energy, as the ski slope and chairlift flank the scene.
