Artist Inspiration: I painted this Idaho trout just below the surface, its colorful scales catching the filtered sunlight in a shimmer that always makes me pause. The water flows softly around it, currents curling and swirling as if holding their breath. In front, a lure hangs, sharp and tempting, and for a moment the fish hesitates. Curious, cautious, caught between instinct and intrigue. I love this quiet, suspended moment in the wild, where everything slows down and you can feel the delicate balance of nature.
