I painted Peavey to capture a lighter, happier side of the sheep that roam the valley. His bright expression immediately brought a sense of joy to the painting, so I surrounded him with soft greens, blues, and little bursts of yellow wildflowers. I used purple and lavender throughout his wool to add softness and personality while keeping the piece playful.
